VERSIONUPDATER - display notifications when updates are available no longer working

VERSIONUPDATER only works when it is set to automatic

If your settings are as following, VERSIONUPDATER will not notify you of updates, unless you do an manual "Update ChecK". Basically, automatic new version notifications are not working as they used to.

However, VERSIONUPDATER is working properly if configured as follows, it will auto check for an update and auto-update.
